Experience Summary

6 years experience in fundamental and applied physics, specifically in the field of novel multimode optical fibres. Applications of theoretical wave chaos investigations to a highly multimode optical fibre : development of novel interesting properties for optical telecommunications. First experimental realisation of wave chaos in a multimode optical fibre, supported by numerical simulations to analyse the spatial properties of waves in such a chaotic system and to confirm a few theoretical predictions. As an application of these properties, design, numerical analysis and experimental study of an optimised double clad fibre amplifier. In parallel, 3 years as university tutor in electronics in the first two years of physics degree and one year as tutor in high engineering school.
